Two years ago, the journey began… and today we celebrate it together!
To mark the 2nd anniversary of Tokaido MJS, we are launching The First Championship. A special tournament where travelers from everywhere can meet on the road, enjoy the calm beauty of the journey, and compete for the title.
Walk the path, collect memories, admire the landscapes… and may the most thoughtful traveler win.

Are you under 300 ELO and have played at least 50 tokaido games ?
Then you're warmly invited to join our TOKAIDO training tournament this August!

40-player Swiss tournament

Focused on fun, learning, and progress

Supportive and relaxed atmosphere

A good opportunity to play regularly and meet other beginners

I founded this community over a year and a half ago, and looking back, I feel like I've done my part. I've watched every single one of you grow — through the wins, the losses, the frustrating plateaus, and the breakthroughs. And I'm proud, genuinely proud, of how far you've all come.
So many of you have improved massively. Some have surpassed even your own expectations, pushing past limits you didn't think you could break. A few of you have crossed the 300 elo mark — a milestone that says everything about the dedication you've put in.
Going forward, I might not be as present as I used to be. Life happens, priorities shift, and I know I won't always have the same time to give. But know this: I'll still be here, in one way or another. This community isn't going anywhere just because I step back a little.
What I hope, more than anything, is that you keep playing this game. Tokaido has meant so much to me since the very beginning — it's the reason this community exists at all. Keep that spirit alive. Keep improving, keep supporting each other, and keep enjoying the game the way I always have.
