Why can I only trade with 1 of my opponents?

Hi, I am currently playing a tournament match with 2 others, I am losing and that doesn’t really bother me as this is the 20th game now But I have noticed that whenever I suggest a trade it only offers it to one of my opponents and not the other one even though they have resources. Is this a bug or is this a setting you can set, because although you can still refuse, it seems a bit unfair that it doesn’t even get offered to them and yet if they want to trade I still have to consider it. Not gonna lie it makes me feel like what’s the point of even having trades as an option in the game if one player is never going to accept, especially a 3 player game.

There are options you can configure for trade notifications. I think they are on the upper right, but I can't confirm because I don't have a game running right now.

There are many options available for these trade notifications, including ignoring all trades, or considering only trades involving particular resources. Since each player in your game only has a total of 40 hours on their clock, it's a good way to avoid having your time used up unnecessarily.

Ah thanks for the clarification… I understand, but I also think if you are going to play like that then trades should just be disabled personally as I’m now reluctant to even consider any trades from that person now. Seems kinda pointless, but that’s just me.
