1st game (after played FS), weird strategy?

Post by newoat »

I ended up playing 16 moors. :D

The moors feel like mushrooms in the base game to me.

That's not weird, that's good solid strategy. Moors are one of the two best strategy lines in this game (pawed animals are the other). The comparison to mushrooms is understandable, but the moors are so much more than mushrooms.

I just looked it up in my currently running game. The answer is "yes, it has".

Sorry, yes,I looked it up in the appendix under 'Goat Willow',but you can't edit or reply to your own posts here. The cards all have moor symbols on their backs when played face-down,I suppose. The thing that makes it confusing to players,is that in normal shuffle, cards that trigger off tree symbols aren't triggered by saplings, because they don't have tree symbols, even though they are trees.

Thanks! I'll try to keep that in mind when exploring the new game experience!
