Thanks Frank and all for the comments and good bug reports and implementation suggestions. Good stuff.

I think in general this game could use many more optional 'are you sure?' prompts. So many times I've misclicked on a card or event the end of game 'reject placing greeneries'. Clicks can be tricky? Ha.

Yes we have been running into this issue in our games lately. It is hard to tell that it is your time to discard a card you were just given and not the fact it became a normal turn to take an action. Click on a card to play it and it auto discards it with zero way to undo.

I think this action should be changed to be like the action in Arknova when you have to discard your end game goal card. Once you select the card it highlights the card with a trash icon over it and then you hit a confirm discard button.

I think you should rather first confirm you are getting a card and then discard and confirm discard. Not just get a card automatically and then confirm only discard. This way you don't even know which card you got (or even that you got something, if you don't check the log).

Yes, thanks for this article!!! I voted for that. In last days I discarded AI because of this.

One suggestion (perhaps I should submit it on the appropriate channels) is adding more optional 'are you sure?' prompts to this game, to avoid situations like this. I've misclicked plenty in this game, including stuff like this.

Hey everyone -

I am going to coordinate all these similar topics into a single suggestion in the bug/suggestion forum and then coordinate with the developers to work this out.

I do believe that adding a "are you sure" button (which already exists for 4 scenarios) will solveall these problems.

Situations in which the game gives an "are you sure" prompt that must be clicked before proceeding:

1) Buying zero project cards in the starting hand
2) Doing an action that raises an already-maxed global parameter.
3) Doing anything that draws a card
4) Keeping a prelude that has a cost that might not be able to be paid.

Actions for which I believe we should add an "are you sure" or "confirm" discard" or something like that:

1) Rejecting final greenery placement
2) Selecting "automatically pass"
3) Playing a tile on the South pole hex (when not having 6 MC) and playing a tile on the central hex of the Vastitas Borealis map (when not having 4 MC).
4) Discarding a card with Mars University after playing a science tag
5) Discarding a card after drawing one from Pluto.

Anything else I am forgetting?

Autopass is already gated by a confirmation button.

I’d add activating Search for Life to the list.

It is? (I've never used it). That means when people do it by accident, they are making two accidental clicks ! Bizarre.

Nah, it‘s more like when you do it, you‘re sure it‘s correct until a few moments later when you realize you forgot something.
People would just like to have an option to undo the autopass, e.g., have a checkbox and when it comes around to your turn and the checkbox is checked, then and only then the game will autopass you. Other games have that; I can‘t see why TfM can‘t.

A place where I miss an "undo" or "are you sure" is when drafting at the start of a generation. Especially on mobile, I might accidentally click on a card, and it is immediately selected as my draft and the draft continues with the next round of cards.
