A New Logo for Board Game Arena

Sad that it becomes more and more clear that this is an asmodee thing ... it will get down and soon the monetarizing will start.
Creators who want to have their game here will have to pay money, players will not be able to play/ participate without a non Premium Account... people should start to take care of the remaining contenders for playing online boardgames beside cash Apps...

I'm sorry, but the logo looks like it was designed by someone who doesn't understand the basic principles of typography. This black hole, without shadow, without shape, is hideous. Please, if you must change the logo, don't give a third option when switching to a new table; it's simply painful to look at. At least the round version is more or less okay.

I agree with you, but I guess there is no choice, this is a brand. BGA should looks like Asmodee. And I don't like that big dark shadow. Colors are ok, but should fill letters.

I don't have strong feelings about the new logo approach, rebranding happens all the time and (not so) new ownership brings changes.

I do find it a bit weird how piecemeal this is though. Keeping the old blue/purples combination alongside the new colourway of the logo suggests a lack of a cohesive brand update strategy. This is emphasised by how the navigation bar on mobile is now bookended by two different-sized circles, making it look wonky.

And as many people have pointed out, the mobile responsiveness has broken.

in the circle version there is a lot of blue and a lot of red and just a tiny bit of yellow. this looks imbalanced. can you make the yellow stripe broader so we see same amount of each color?

edit: apparently which color is where is not consistent. however in every combination, middle stripe shows not enough of it's color

The BGA wiki still uses the old logo.

I kinda like the new design, but I think it looks really awkward in black & white, like in Glow game tables.
