Why are you doing the work the designers should be doing?
They are paid to know where the logo is and if they don't know where to find it that is their problem.

It's slower to load now, especially on mobile.

(It's also rather ugly IMO)

Do not like the new logo on the load screen.
The tilted text with the blue accent on "g" or "game" looks ok, but not the thing with the colored stripes coming out of it lacks finesse (Disclaimer: I could not design a better one, but I do not try to publish graphics...).
And I agree with some commentors that it feels like the site loads slower
