Is turn order random?

I noticed that often I either play 1st for the whole day or 2nd for the whole day. Feels like turn order is not random at all.
Is it random or there is some kind of algorithm?

I've noticed that the player who creates the game goes first about 70% of the time and going first is an advantage in the base game.

I've noticed that the player who creates the game goes first about 70% of the time and going first is an advantage in the base game.

Only on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and alternate Fridays. On Wednesdays and Saturdays it goes to the taller player while on Sundays and Mondays it goes to the shorter player. On the other half of Fridays each player goes first 55% of the time.
