Plugin to assist - Azul arena cheating

There are currently three factors that are ruining this game on the BGA. Playing online is supposed to be as close as possible to playing in real life. So here are those three factors:

1) Constantly undoing moves. It's unbelievable that there is no longer an option to change this setting. Some players undo their moves six times in a single turn. For me, and although I know I'm going against the majority of Azul players on this platform, it's awful. Can you imagine playing in real life with a player like that? It's totally forbidden. Can you imagine in a soccer game a player missing a penalty and saying to the referee, “Sorry, I'm going to take it again to do better and try to score the goal”? Anyway...

2) People using plugins that count the tiles. Unbelievable. It's a game, our lives don't depend on it. It doesn't matter if you win or lose. I've never seen a player in real life counting the tiles that come out to see how many are left. Horrible.

3) And then there are the people who concede the game when they know they're not going to win. Anyway... No comment.

I wish none of those three things were allowed.

Hey, I respect all of your opinions and am not trying to start an online argument. I'm just interested in your perspective because mine is a bit different, and I would love to understand your side of this more! What do you have against conceding games? If you both know that you will lose, it makes everything faster for everyone. I don't think people would use undos if they weren't a feature. People would just spend longer thinking about their plays so imho undos help game flow. As for tile counting, it is true that it does not matter if you win or lose. However, it is fun to play the game at a high level! It's also fun to play casually. Although high level competitive Azul play is rare irl, I'm very sure that the best irl players count tiles every game.

I am fine with undoing moves. However, it would be better if the undoing would not be shown to the opponent but only the final move would be shown.

I am very positive to conceding - it saves time.

I am not very happy with tile counting in that is done in a written form. I.e. only tile counting in your head is true spirited tile counting. An exception should be made for turn based games where written notes are necessary (nobody can keep track of several games in the Header over weeks).

But I accept that players use tools for tile counting since any ruling otherwise could not be enforced anyways. Whoever wants to use it will use it. If both players use it the quality of play can be inproved considerably.

Hi, no problem. Disagreeing with an opinion is not synonymous with arguing.

First of all, I like to live as close as possible to playing at home with your friends. Which I can't do because I'm working in another country. So conceding a game, I don't know... I've never done that with my group of friends. I think it's not knowing how to lose. Imagine any sport. Come on, let's take motorcycling, for example. A rider has just won the MotoGP world championship, so now no one should race in any of the remaining races because they know they're not going to win. I like to finish the game, even if I know I'm going to lose. I like to know how many points I've scored at the end, whether I win or lose. I also find it incredible that there are two types of tiles left to choose from in the last round and they concede the game when they knew they were going to lose many rounds ago.

As for undoing moves, I promise you that I've played games where the player makes and undoes 4 or 5 moves every turn. It's exasperating. Now imagine a soccer game in which a player takes a penalty kick, misses, and says to the referee, “Wait, let me take it again. I'll do better and try to score.” That's undoing...

And believe me, I've never counted tiles to win a game, nor will I ever. If I win, great; if I lose... just as great. I don't win or lose money playing Azul.

I assume the notes section is to ...take notes. The feature is there, but some are unhappy that people use it?
