I could play my green 9 and sum a total of 20, but my opponent claims the rock with theirs 19. How that can be possible?



Here, it's the same, I already have a sum of 14 on the board, but he wins the rock with a value of only 11.

There's a player aid at the bottom left and it ranks the best set of 3 cards. Your opponent won those stones because they have a color set and that beats a sum alone

Yeah. It would be a completely different game strategically if only the sum mattered.

Thank you for your answers. I thought color set were only "consecutive cards", like 123, 456 or 567. Not 147 or 269.
