Issue with game list showing it's my turn incorrectly

Just recently I had an issue in an Ark Nova Arena mode game where it shows it's my turn in the game list, while in-game it's not, so it locks me from all other Ark Nova Arena games. I know last time this happened it was due to some site-wide issues, but not sure about this time. Have other players had the same thing happen today? I opened an Ark Nova bug and a site bug, not sure which one's the right way to go, but wanted to see if it might be again something that caused problems for more than just one person.

Any ideas? I'll time out in 4 other Arena games in the next 8-9 hours if this doesn't get fixed.

This seems to happen sometimes, and it's not specific to any one game. People report this happening in the Terraforming Mars bug forum. Usually it resolves itself on its own relatively quickly. I am not sure what causes the problem.

What is the table number at which you are having the problem?

Looks like it hasn't solved itself, so not sure what's going to happen, I might kick the other player as time expires so I don't time out in my other games. I've messaged them to move but I don't think they speak English, as they haven't moved since despite being online.

Ended up kicking them unfortunately and getting insulted in return, yay, despite me trying to help them with messages earlier...

Looks like it hasn't solved itself, so not sure what's going to happen, I might kick the other player as time expires so I don't time out in my other games. I've messaged them to move but I don't think they speak English, as they haven't moved since despite being online.

I understand that you were referring to an Ark Nova game. I mentioned Terraforming Mars to indicate that this issue can happen in any game. It's not an issue with the game code for any specific game.

Maybe I'm not understanding, but why does that one table lock you from playing others? I know that if you have a table over time, that prevents you from playing any other tables (not just for the same game), but was it thinking you were showing your opponent's time (and that time was negative) or is there some other reason?

Sometimes the BGA system will say it is one player's turn in a game - but then that player loads the game to make a move, it is actually someone else's turn. So, no move can be made.

But, because the BGA system thinks it is that player's turn, it will prevent that player from making a move in other arena games, because sometimes one specific arena game's move must be made before making moves in other arena games.

Indeed, the "blocked" games and the problematic one were all Ark Nova Arena mode games. Luckily for me there were 30 min between when the problematic one timed out and when the ones it was really my turn it timed out, so I managed to move in those.
