Commanders Expansion?

with the next expansion Bermuda Triangle coming out, is there any change of Commanders making it on BGA?

That's a decision that would need to be made by the publisher. The best approach is to contact them directly and request it.

I'd love to see and develop one or both expansions on BGA.

Really love this game and would really like to see the expansions on here.

If it's true that we have to go to the publishers directly, I wonder how appropriate it is to leave their information here so we can contact the company and politely but eagerly suggest they authorize a BGA adaptation.

Given that they authorized the base game, I'm sure they would authorize the expansions. That's definitely part of the process, but it's more a matter of encouraging someone to volunteer or encouraging the publisher to pay a developer. BGA staff doesn't do the adaptations themselves.

We see usernames at the game page and I always thought those were the BGA programmers who created the adaptation for the website.

You've seen my username up there over a dozen times. Check my profile. I would probably know if I were a BGA employee.

Employees keep the site running, but volunteer and freelance developers program the game adaptations. If it were all done in house, they'd have no reason to have an entire section of the forum dedicated to developers.

I wouldn't take that for granted. The publishers of some games have made it clear that they have no intention of having expansions in BGA (e.g. Wingspan)
