In Ahoy, you are swashbucklers and soldiers navigating the high seas! Each round, you will roll dice and assign them to perform actions unique to your faction. By controlling key regions and delivering valuable cargo, you will earn Fame. The player who reaches 30 Fame by the end of a round claims victory!
One faction is the Bluefin Squadron, a crew of sharks and their toothy friends, enforcing order with muskets and blades. Another is the Mollusk Union, a coalition of undersea creatures and their kin, striving to reclaim their ancestral waters. With a larger party, additional players take on the role of Smugglers — independent captains who slip through blockades to deliver goods to those in need... or to the highest bidder.
Keep in mind, Smugglers are only included in games with more than two players.
Some special tiles affect your actions, such as the fog that prevents battles or the treasure icons that awards you gold for anchoring in that space. And you can also explore by sailing out of the known spaces to discover new tiles.
And do not forget to Recruit new crew members every time your flagship is on an island space.
