Patchwork not in full list of available licenses

Post by alsozatch »

The game Patchwork by Uwe Rosenberg is already implemented in BGA. But on the licenses page after pressing the button for showing all games, Patchwork is not there. Shouldn't it be there? How do we add it there? Are there other missing games on that page?

I'm new to BGA Studio.

Why do you care? We have license for this - but maintaining license list is hard work.

I'm just pointing out something I saw which I think should be an easy fix. That list is where people can go to see the current state of games on BGA in one place, right? Why wouldn't we want it to be correct?

There were times on BGA when licenses were not added to this specific list even though were granted to BGA by publishers. From some point in time that started to be more strict and publishers being asked to fill the form for a license to appear. Unfortunately many games before that point in time show they don't have a license. Sad but true

What bug you want to get fix? How do you know its easy to be corrected? How do know it is not going to break the game which pretty
much has no new bugs reported in 6 month?
FYI: If game is on production we have license. What you really need to know if who maintaining the game and if talk to them (which is me in this case)

Interesting, so it isn't an easy fix because new entries on that page are only added by publishers submitting a form? I suppose that answers it, thanks.

I think there is some misunderstanding. I'm pretty much just talking about adding the words "Patchwork" and "Already published on BGA!" to that webpage.

Yes I misunderstood you, sorry. I though you are trying to fix the patchwork and starting with asking about licensing (because if not I am not sure why you care)

Well, some people enjoy when everything is in the right place and all the processes are followed :)
