Am I the only one thinking that new arena setting makes the game far more random than previously?

Topic. For me it's now completely grazy how points can be explode and honestly I'm not sure I have too much infuence on it anymore. Sometimes somebody got the right connection between the 2 worlds and collect grazy points during the game, sometimes somebody get grazy trade points on end of game.

'Normal' Victory point cards seems to be way less important and you just have to be lucky to get the right combos or not.

Not really. I thought so too at first but after two dozen of gmaes, it’s not like that. There are a bit more of randomness and sometimes - rarely - there will be games that will go totally out of control indeed. Yet, there are many more strategies than before and even more than before you have to be attentive what the game is giving you. Of course some resources are much more valuable (magical resources), yet i already won games with only 2 or 3 or them. So yes, the top tier ranking list of the cards has been totally changed, but jo it’s not much more random than before.
