Auto End Game if Out of Reach?

Does the game need to play out fully if out of reach for other players? I am thinking maybe it is for those that record stats? I am really enjoying this one though.

There are no doubt people who are going to want to start high score threads on here (just give it time) and they will be sad-faced if the game ends early for any reason, but especially if the game automatically ends without a player choosing.
