No Arena rules are changing this season.

Except BGA is apparently radically changing the new game start up screen without telling us in advance, 2 days into the season.

Forest Shuffle: Dartmoor was not reset with the new season - I am still in Elite league.
All other relegations seem to work fine

New game. Arena ends in 3 months i think.

Not sure about that - I got to Elite previous season in multiple games and this is the only one that did not reset by the usual relegation... unless there are extra exceptions for new games I am not aware of?

If a game is released during an arena season, the end of its first season will be the next one to make sure the total duration is long enough

It's not just you. The season announcement at the beginning of this thread said no Arena rules changes this season, and then 2 days later, they made 3:

• opponents are anonymous during table set-up, and so you don't know their level(s)
• you have to explicitly accept the start of Arena games
• you always get at least one Arena point for a win, no matter the level or your opponent(s)

The latter two were listed in a release summary. The first one has been obliquely mentioned in passing in the thread I linked a couple replies above, but is otherwise unacknowledged by BGA.

Editing to add: I don't think any of the changes are bad. But the communication around them has been an embarrassing disaster. The changes to the matching screen looked like bugs to a lot of folks, preventing many games that might have otherwise started.

why competetive in 3? why you change wingspans arena... so sad( hope youll return old ompetetive in 2, not in 3...
why should I need to able on 3rd player... why he/she should change my win condition cuz of theyre bad play??? hope youll change everything and return old one
