Lol.. I don't know enough about how it all works. But I do know it seems we may be experiencing the same thing from different ends. Interesting, no?
As mentioned ELO isn't my goal..
But.. like the old saying goes.. you work with the hand you are dealt.

Can't do anything about that. I play in real life and win a great deal more games than on bga..lol..by far.. that's how I can lay claim to my ELO not representing my skills, just the cards I'm dealt!..
I still believe the bias is in the delivery of the cards/dice/tiles etc, in relation to the ELO and the algorythm.

I'm no techy..don't pretend to be.. I am just expressing my experience along with the op of this thread that a number of players with higher ELO will just stop playing when it becomes evident they will lose!
Good chat.
Happy times to you! 😊

We can already see how good you are from your game history on BGA. Your unverified record against your IRL opponents doesn't change that. That's like a 200 losing to a 300, then bragging how they beat up a bunch of 100s so they're actually not worse than the 300. All you're doing is dunking on your real-life opponents for losing to you. Not very nice of you.

Since you claimed to be underrated, I went and took a look at your rating in Connect 4 and discovered you might actually be overrated due to BGA not allowing any rating to go below 100, which artificially protected your rating from several losses. This is one of the ways BGA is rigged, so to speak, for lower rated players. A 100 could enter every single one of their games, type random stuff into the chat like "I eat tacos", then leave. They will still be rated 100.
