Car color

Post by Silivren »

Hi,
Is it possible to set the player's color on the car, instead of the helmet ?
It makes more sense, especially when playing 2 cars in a multiplayers game.

You can set the pitstop color, which is the car color

Ahh, that's what it's doing.

I was coming to post that it's a bit difficult to distinguish between cars. I'm in a race where both blue cars, in particular, look very similar. The helmet colours are pink and orange.https://boardgamearena.com/14/formulad?table=758782487

I'd suggest either matching the player colour to a larger area of the car, maybe the full rear wing and also the sides like in the board game itself https://cf.geekdo-images.com/b2SFN9Gefl ... 387789.jpg

Or, reconsider the colours being used. Pink, orange and lilac/purple are all looking quite similar. Maybe switch one for black, which would stand out on its own. Or if you're keeping it, make pink more of a strong, bright magenta colour.

I don't think that the shading on the helmets helps overly much either.

Of course, but then both car will have the same color on their car and helmet.

My point is to easily distinguish each car on a team.

There can be a strategic aspect to selecting specific pit boxes, so I get that car colour is not determined by your default preferences.
