Does anyone know how the final score is calculated ?

I was also wondering about this and couldn't figure it out.

The details of the points system is in the game's "How to Play" section under "BGA Rule Variations".

When you have several cars, in a race it could be great that all positions make you win some points. Actually, only the three first places make you win points.
Meaning being the first is the real goal.

By giving points at 8 first will make race more tactical. For example:
1st 10pt
2nd 8pt
3 rd 7 pt
4th 6pt
Etc
