Ran the Dice Rolls thru a spread sheet.... RE: ORIGINAL GAME REFERENCED

70 Dice rolls = 140 Die Rolls = 23.3 should be 1's + 23.3 should be 2's etc.

As Totals.... 0 should be 1's + 2 should be 2's + 4 should be 3's +
6 Rolls should Total as 4's + 8 should be 5's + 10 should be 6's +

12 should be 7's + 10 should be 8's + 8 should be 9's + 6 should be 10's +
4 Roils should Total as 11's + 2 should be 12's

BIG ANOMALIES = 22 x 7'S 189% OF NORMAL +++
14 x 6's 60% OF NORMAL + AS COMBOS 4 x 6's 41% OF NORMAL
14 x 1's 60% OF NORMAL +++
0 x 11's 0% OF NORMAL
_______________

ARE THESE VARIANCES FAR OUT OF BOUNDS ??? Hmmmmm......

AFTER RUNNIN STATS ON 40 GAMES... THIS GAME HAS PERHAPS THE GREATEST VARIANCE...

ANSWER THE Q...!!! IS IT FAR OUT OF BOUNDS ??? Hmmmmm.....

ANSWER: IT SEEMS .....drummmrollllll.... LEGIT..... RANDOM.......

AS A STAND-ALONE GAME ... IT DOES NOT PROVE ANYTHIN ??? Hmmm....

[OK- SOME ROUNDING THERE... 72 ROLLS IS MUCH MORE EASY TO FIGURE THAN 70 ROLLS]

WHAT WOULD QUICKLY SEEM FISHY... IF ANY PARTICULAR NUMBER EXCEEDS 150% OF NORMAL ....
SAY.... 4 OUT OF 6 GAMES...

NOW THAT WOULD CAST DOUBT ON RANDOMNESS....

TO DISCOVER LESS OBVIOUS BIAS - WOULD REQUIRE RUNNIN STATS ON.... SAY 300 GAMES...

I'M OUT....

Final Answer:

𝑃

𝑋

45
)

3
×
10

13
P(X≥45)≈3×10
−13

or about 1 in 3 trillion — effectively zero for practical purposes.

I just played a game where 1, 2 and 6 all rolled 11 times. 7 rolled 11 times too. I don't think that's possible in reality.

Well, you're clearly wrong. All integer numbers between 1 and 12 are possible in reality. Something that would have been impossible, for example, is 1 time 12 and 0 times 6 (assuming the stats count 6+6 as two sixes and one twelve).

Thanks Captain Literal, any chance you used all that to show the odds of those rolls happening?

The odds are irrelevant, a single event can prove nothing.

I don't think those are numbers rolled, I think those are dice selected. Check other games of Space Base. All numbers above 6 are severely underrepresented. Why do you think that is? Think of the rules.
