Expel timer issue

Imaging that you are playing Silver Lake with 2 eagles providing you with 2 extra actions and you can do association actiom to obtain 1 more action from association bonus. Then you need to perform your total 4 actions in just two and half mintues. That is a torture since you need to calculate a lot of options to finf the best one.

That's the risk/reward balance of having 4 actions in a turn. You can plan your turn carefully beforehand, or not try to find the best move, or avoid playing the 2 eagles the same turn. And of course, choose slower game speeds or turn-based.

It is not really helpful to suggest playing less efficient because of a time problem.
Usually, time is enough, but the timeout is made for people who think too long or just do not play at all.
In games like AN, where sometimes very long chains of actions may follow in a single turn, I think it is neither in the interest of both players nor gameplay in general to punish that.
But it has been adressed several times, and put down consequently. The reasons are not clear to me - too complicated to change the timer for a game, or misunderstanding what is is about, or whatever?
Same problem with the red time-out banner that, once appeared, will not go away even if no more time problems occur during the game, giving the other player a "quick win button" when he feels he might lose. That is neither the intention nor fair, but also not changed.

Not true. The skip/expel button is only available while your timer is in the negative. If you take quicker turns your timer will recover and you cannot be expelled.

I had 5 moves.... multiplier on sponsor multiplier on association and bonus action from silver lake... and I just got expelled I made a small mistake first time and I undid what I could but it was a fast table and someone was not happy I was triggering end game... it was not fair..... I needed 5 secs I was almost done... I think extra moves require reset of timers...

The timer are already quite friendly and you can also set the game speed.
Those timers are there for a reason, it's still annoying that some players, even with high ELO in Arena take too much time on turns. While some are quite fast and with both competitive good players at a speed of 10-15mins each, it's sometimes a huge waste of time waiting for someone who needs double the amount of time.

I would prefer if we could even add a higher speed limit for Arena on high competitive level.

Even with five moves you had about half a minute for each. 40s when you take into account 20s of overtime. You don't need that much time per action.

It helps if you apologize in the chat box that you need more time to finish your move. I would wait if someone ask for it in a nice way.

I think you may need a button, click it and you will get timer reset.if you do this, you cant undo action. and the button only appear when you get a extra action
