When I was young, I played a game that was basically the same thing, but there was a few minor differences in the rules.
Whenever you drew a king, they would go into their own fifth pile, and you would immediately draw or flip to replace it. However, kings could not be used as aces or queens.
We used to call the game double solitaire though, as we used to only ever play with two, but I don't see how it wouldn't work into this framework. Does that change and rules operate under a different name?
