Does anyone have any experience playing the expansions online via Gog and Gog Galaxy? Curious if there is a strong community of players there, as there is here.

Buy it on Mobile (android or iPhone) or if you have a PC you can wait till it goes on sale and buy it on steam. You can play vs others crossplay vs mobile players and if the host has the expansions then you can play with them without purchase.

Trust me. Once I realized how much I enjoyed Wingspan I bought the st am version with all expansions and can find three player games with virtually no wait. I can't even fathom playing the base game without necter anymore

I also own the Steam version with all expansions but I would prefer to play on BGA because of ease of access (any browser) and because of turn based play. And there is the arena too.
But I guess there is a cow that needs to be milked for many years to come so...

Agreed on ease of access. I own the Steam version as well and it's just not for me. I don't need 'fancy' graphics, I want efficiency.

Oh well, maybe in another lifetime.

I thought about buying a non-bga version but it looks very bad, there are too many distractions. That's why I stayed with bga, and besides, there's a good rating system that I haven't heard of on another platform.

Hello guys, I just read the conversation. My question is : Does someone have an idea about playing wingspan with all expansions for free on internet ? Anyway, Wingspan with expansions on Steam look very terrible for me (no efficiency).

No, that’s not possible. There are some board games you can play for free without the original art and text on lesser known servers, but Wingspan isn’t one of them.

I understand that it is tricky to implement the official expansions as they are also on Steam. But how about the birds of the fan promo packs? They are nowhere else offered online.
