I remember that being my biggest struggle with these daily unlocks in the past... I'll get on and its still "yesterday" or I completely miss a day somehow...

That has been my biggest problem as well. So, this month I'm setting a reminder on my phone for Nov 30 at the appropriate time, and I'll adjust that one day forward each time I get the new daily unlock.
