A question from a newbie

I just started playing this game and I don't understand why I didn't get 7 points for the "diverse portfolio" goal? I and my opponent both had 5 different labels.

Most variety in spirit labels (unique labels, duplicates won't count as unique)

You had:
-Gin, soju, baijiu, signature, moonshine
-Unique labels = 5

Your opponent had:
-Whiskey, cachaca, signature, vodka, moonshine, brandy
-Unique labels = 6

Therefore your opponent did indeed have most variety in labels. If it were 5 unique labels each, you would have achieved your goal as it is "Have most or be tied for..."

Thank you for your analysis! I went towards end of the game and in shows that we both have 5 labels (game doesn't show that opponent had Whiskey)

That is what confused me, probably just a visual bug. Does things like this happen often?

The labels only go onto the player mat as in your image once sold. Technically the label is on the drink in the warehouses. The indicator on the top right of the screen should have those up to the minute.
