I'm new to this game and I'm looking for people who are willing to play with me in friendly or turn-based mode. I will say right away that I will spend a lot of time on my moves.

Me too - I'm also not the fastest, and possibly in a quite different time zone, I'm happy with a multi-day game with a few turns per day :-)
