Hanabi 10000+ games masters have some common problems

I played a game with hanabigrandmaster.
Literally, his id is grand master so I was amused.
But no, he bombed the game because everyone didn't play exactly as he wanted.

It wasn't even a big mistake, and he was just embarassed he missed a finesse.
Anyway, what is the problem with these guys?
It's not my first experience. A lot of hanabi master players go mad as soon as they see a subtle difference.

If you decided to play a game with strangers, just play along unless they are completely ruining the game.
Or is it required to be a crybaby to get to master tier?

Yes I am mad from all the 'master' trollers who bomb the game on purpose or chat aggressively.
I also try my best to follow conventions, but this strange culture of bombing should also be fixed.
Please don't bomb the game because you want to be mean.

One big thing to help against that is to play 2P exclusively (most complex/random conventions don‘t work there).

There is still plenty of aggressive ppl, but you eventually can get rid of them by redthumbing consequently.

And I‘ll just invite you to an according group.

The whole point is to get fun from the 3+ player conventions. I want to enjoy the game but there are just too many aggressive players.

The conventions are simple: sensible clues, no early saves, good touch principle. It may look to you that they bomb for no reason but they are simply reacting to the clues you give

I had several successful 2-p games with him, and then one game I colored some color and captured the 1 and 2, he played the one.

He had two unplayable 2s in hand so next clue I marked 2s revealing the colored 2 and he played left, bomb, then chewed me out and red thumbed me.

He said “in finesse convention, which I have chosen for this table, the focus is on the newest card marked”

So I said “I’m supposed to let you discard two twos before clueing that then? Okay, next time I will” and he said there won’t be a next time

Edit: should clarify the two 2s also captured were needed, they weeent trash, just the ones weren’t down yet. I said since he couldn’t know the colored card was 2, it makes no sense that revealing that isn’t the focus, but he wouldn’t hear it

Why is naming others moderated?
We should be allowed to open debates about people who bomb the game on purpose, and let every kind citizen avoid him/her.

Lol of course everyone can make mistakes, the important thing is whether they own them. Grandmaster once blind played for a save clue in my game and blamed the player for skipping instead of admitting it. And obviously he ruined your game on purpose because his clue wasn't understood I guess. But he ignored the blue finesse - something you shouldn't do, and caused the confusion himself. So yes, don't pay much attention to him, play or watch some replays of 5p multi+powder games - they've taught me a lot

I can tell you the reasonning about not playing into b3:

So turn #11, Cloud reclue blue to Duck, so Hanabi should be playing a bluff.
But looking at Duck, the 3 clue is really powerful since it's a normal clue, that make sure b3 isn't played, and that save a w3 (if Hanabi don't clue 3, Fire draw another 3, that clue isn't possible anymore, and if it's a duplicate 3, you will need to extract that k3, which is extremely bad).
The main problem is that you take the risk to duplicate the play: conventionnally Hanabi and Fire Deck could both have k3. But here if it's the case, 3 would be better than blue in Duck's hand in nearly every case. And so we can rule out that possibility.
And so, 3 seem non conventional but the thing to do in a 3 player game. In a 4 player game I would disagree (you got a player which can assume a finesse on themselves, while at 3 the normally only thing possible is assuming a self finesse which is far rarer, and impossible from a color clue).

Turn #14 though it seem Cloud discard a b2, but they got negative 2 on that slot, and they were the clue giver.
Then we got a gentleman's discard of a known w3, and that was good.

And then Hanabi bombed 2 times their chop for no reason.
And like Cloud I really hate that kind of reaction.
