Like castles of burgundy but simpler

Post by Fizzy_Soda »

Hey all I’m looking for games that are like castles of burgundy, but simpler.

Anything that involves rolling dice and laying tiles and is available to play on BGA.

Thanks

I'd love to help you find the right games, but I'm not sure I can. Why? Because rolling dice and placing tiles can offer a completely different gaming experience, for example in games like Marrakech or Buttons, which I guess is not what you are looking for.

The gameplay in Castles of Burgundy is quite unique. Games like Dice Hospital, Dice Hospital Emergency Roll, and Dice Theme Park are possibly the closest comparisons. Carson City is a more interactive game. However, they all have a similar level of difficulty to Castles of Burgundy. Perhaps Bebop would fit for you?

Some games use different materials but have a lot in common with a simpler version of Castles of Burgundy in terms of gameplay. How about roll and write or flip and write games like Railroad Ink, My City Roll & Write or Carthographers?

I thought to remember your name, and yes... https://boardgamearena.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=42738
Still looking for your new favourite games? ;)
I think you might like Azul and My Shelfie, give them a try.
