In my view, a major mistake is the rejection of the “pie rule” in the Arena. The point is that some openings in Kalah are inherently winning. And while there aren’t many such openings in Kalah-6, and winning isn’t that easy, in Kalah-5 and Kalah-4 there are significantly more of them.
