Wasteland as edge of the map?

Wasteland as edge of the map?

Hello everyone,
If I play a tile that gives points for touching the edge of the map next to the wasteland, does that count?

No. Wasteland spaces are normal filled spaces of no terrain type. Bordering the wasteland does not count as bordering the edge of the map.
