Highest score

I have been playing a lot of this game recently and was curious what the highest score I could get. So I started playing towards a science strat and got a score of 88. Curious if any of you guys had gotten a higher score. If so let me know.

One of notable games I have seen had 89 score while scoring 48 in green and 17 on red. This was not me, I think my highest is 91-92 but the problem is that the game doesn't encourage to go for the highest possible score. Usually making sure you don't screw up on taking too much risk and settling for about 75 points wins you more games than trying to score 90 and failing it somehow. I think highest scores I know about are like 97-98, but something like that needs a lot of luck. 88 is an impressive score nonetheless. I think it is also interesting to think about bad scores that have won a game. My lowest score while finishing 1st was 42 points. I also managed to not win once with a score like 82 because someone got higher.

There was a youtube video stating the world record at 92p, but I have scored 98 with babylon day. I haven't heard of higher scores.

88 is really impressive!
I can get around 85 if got really lucky playing science. The key here I think is to combine it with something else, guilds or war. I personally think it's much more fun winning with a really low score though.

in three player games it is not uncommon for all of the players to get a 60+, if one goes uninterrupted science run, it also leaves more points cards for others to score good, and someone might get a cheap red in that game too, just finished one at 71-65-62.

Also 6-7 player games tend to gave individual players score exceptionally high because some guilds are more likely to get massive totals. For an example philosophers guild between two green players 12 points is a common sight, and it can get better than that. Also traders guild has a good chance stacking 10+. In big games it is also possible that someone gets a cheap 18 on red. Some of these combined and we are seeing scores well over 80, and it can happen on almost every wonder too. I remember i once scored 12 points on red with 0 red cards, playing rhodos and only red power coming from the wonder stages.

i think 5 players is the most balanced game mode due to the action like this. 4 players is very often a split between two reds and sometimes you end on the bad side just because of luck, and if you don't, it is still often a coin toss if you make 1st or second with scores like 62-61-52-48.

Not really trying to say that I'm GOING for the highest score I was just curious what combos and wonders you guys used.

Highest score from my side is 96, on an almost perfect green Babylon (night) on a 3-player game:
- red: -3
- gold: 3
- green: 85
- purple: 11 (blue magistrat guild )

My screenshot is from April 22/12, I can't remember if it's ranked. Played with tcherob & Tibor kovacs.
