Part of the game is NOT remembering where your wizards are

Post by susan144 »

I own this game and love this game. I love that it is available on BGA.

One thing that people playing only online should be aware of is that not remembering where your wizards are hidden is part of the game. At first you think "There are only a few wizards. I can remember stuff. I'll remember where they are hidden." And then midway through the game you move a tower to expose one of your wizards and instead expose someone else's. Cackling at each other when that happens is a part of the fun of the game. The towers fly around the board so fast, you get confused.

I don't think anything needs to be changed. I just wanted online-only people to know that.

My absolute favourite thing to do is try to build a single mega tower. Really levels the playing field, hard to keep track on anything like that!
You really need at least one other person to make it work though

Seems like a very fun game, but when you play this turn-based online, you have zero idea where the hidden wizards are unless you take extensive notes, which is no fun. So it should just show the hidden wizards when playing turn-based.

Yeah so it's not really meant to be played with hours between turns.
