Don't take ships?

Ships sound strong at first,but if u take 2 ships for first 2 turns, u already lose 8+7=15 actions compared to taking 2 coffee for first 2 turns!
I also watch some top players replays, guess i'm right?

Going out of your way to take ships is rarely worth it. It's a good bonus though
