I have mild colour deficiency (like ~10% of the male population and ~1% of the female population, to varying degrees) and sometimes also struggle with poor contrast text & graphics in low light conditions (like many older people). The most important feature of the cards in Harmonies is the image at the bottom of the card showing the relevant structure of stacked and adjacent tokens. Unfortunately this can be very hard for me to make out, even on a full sized monitor, because of the choice of colours and contrast levels. Similarly, I struggle to see exactly which tokens are being offered for pick-up against the background.
The main issue is red & brown tokens on dark backgrounds during pickup and the red/brown and blue/grey tokens on the cards showing the condition to be satisfied. Struggling to be sure of what I'm seeing is getting in the way of playing and enjoying the game and it would be much improved for me if the colours were better differentiated and clearer and, perhaps, if the cards also had a textual clue as to the required condition.
Are other players having the same issue?
