Re: NORDIC COUNTRIES
It’s great to see new TtR map in BGA. However I found there is something strange when I claim bergen stavenger which has pink and ferry routes, I can’t claim with 1 pink and 3 random colors. Same thing happened with my brother which he can’t claim kirkenes - honningsvag route with 1 green and 3 random colors. With this substitute rule, we should be able claim routes with that method. My brother already reported the bug in bug report. Hopefully it can be fixed so soon.
Re: NORDIC COUNTRIES
We already reported in with number 199825. Please proceed soon.
Re: NORDIC COUNTRIES
It's still in alpha, I'm monitoring the bugs, no need to post them there

Re: NORDIC COUNTRIES
Hello thoun
I have now played over 40 games of Ticket to Ride: Nordic Countries and everything seems fine,
except for the Globetrotter Bonus, which shows 15 points instead of the correct 10 points.
I would like to inquire about when this map will transition out of its Alpha stage.
Additionally, I propose that Switzerland, India, and the Nordic Countries should be treated as distinct entities rather than being grouped together.
I propose that there be a separate ELO for each map, allowing for participation in the Arena with all three individually.

Re: NORDIC COUNTRIES
It has already been asked and I agree. I'm pretty happy to have them in a separate entity at least (Swiss was a map included in base TTR before, which was terrible) but a separate Elo for every map would be optimal.Countes-Olivia-Manny wrote: ↑13 January 2026, 13:21 Additionally, I propose that Switzerland, India, and the Nordic countries should be treated as distinct entities rather than being grouped together.

Re: NORDIC COUNTRIES
If they end up doing 10+ Ticket to Ride Maps, it is a little excessive to have each its own entry. Was already a little slow finding opponents for Swiss and ended up playing same opponent over and over and then getting 0 ELO (because 6 consecutive wins), so if you split more it will only get worse.
What they need to do is alter the way rankings are shown. Currently there is the drop down menu for Arena and All-Time, they just need to have the drop down menu include each map separately (Swiss-All Time, India-All TIme, etc), and if they wanted to be really nice also separate 2P with multi-player. All the data is there, they just need to parse it. This would be useful in other games too where 2P plays different, or expansions change the game a lot.

Re: NORDIC COUNTRIES
This would be optimal, but the current BGA system doesn't allow it, hence splitting them is the only way to have separate Elo. Your remark about slow queues makes sense, but keeping them all together isn't much different in case someone searches for a game on a specific map alone. The only difference is in Arena, which is forced to a specific map (or random maybe?) so everyone goes in the same queue. But even with split maps it wouldn't be much of a problem: I already queue for all 3 games (or 2 last season, when Eu arena sucked) at once when searching for a match and that makes the queue time as fast as grouping all the maps togetherDrakeStorm wrote: ↑14 January 2026, 07:39 What they need to do is alter the way rankings are shown.
