Luck only 2/5

How is it possible, that a game which is based on dices only has 2 out of 5 in luck?

Strategy 3/5 while havin luck 2/5 is a joke. Or am i wrong?

I had some discussions about it with my game group. It's clear that it's a game with a good amount of luck required, specially in games with fewer players (or fewer cars, in team races). But if players have a big gap of experience and knowledge of the rules, in general the player with less experience will probably lose, even if the player with more experience get some bad rolls.

In higher player counts luck tends to be less significant, unless of course you are lucky enough to get ahead of everybody and never have to deal with sharing corners with other cars for the whole race while everybody else is smashing their way through corners.

So IMHO, yes, it's a game with a lot of luck involved provided the players are all on the same level, and luck tends to be more necessary in lower player counts. 3/5 luck would be a good rate for me.
