BGA is Competitive
Even if it is all fun and games, Board Game Arena also offers some competition. You organized, and finished, almost 80k tournaments in 2025. Altered saw the largest number of registered participants for a single tournament with over 1.2k who joined.

The games that saw the most tournaments being organized are none other than Carcassonne with 6.5k tournaments, Can’t Stop with 5k, and Azul with 4k tournaments organized in 2025.
Which was the 1.2k Altered tournament? I can't find it in the completed/current tournaments list. Usually tournaments can only be max 512 players, so didn't realise a tournament could be so big.

Likewise - was the 6.5k Carcassonne tournaments meant to be 6.5k Carcassonne tournament games? From a 1 minute scan through the tournaments pages, I'd estimate there was about 1k Carcassonne tournaments in 2025 (a large chunk of which were 2-player tournaments that a group have set up manually as part of their own bigger tournament, by the looks of it) - but certainly not 6x that amount!

Same here. I really hope I will still get it. Would make sense to just be able to check it here in the player profile.

Other than that: thanks for your recap post. I like numbers. A lot!

Keep up the good work!
