Add a “seen “ function to game end instead of vanishing

Hi all,

I think all games should have a “seen “ button function when the game ends and it takes you to the final scoring. Currently if I lose or win a game and I am not watching the game it will disappear and I would have to click back into my history to find the game and see what happened. Very frustrating with this extra step. Some players have 10 to 20 games going. Thats a lot to keep up with.

This can be resolved by adding a seen function like in Heat, when it’s a champion series, each player must hit seen on race results before advancing to next track.

Since you mention 10 or 20 games going, I'm assuming you are talking about turn based games?

You can have the system send you an email notification of the game ending. It has the information of the final scores and it also has a direct link to the final situation.

Also, you get visible notifications in your profile (clicking on your avatar in the upper right - which flashes whenever a game has ended-, then on the exclamation mark icon). I understand that your “seen” version would be even easier, but you say that you have to search your game history to find the games which isn’t true (or there’s something I’m misunderstanding in your post). Your idea sounds great, but it would need every game’s devs to change the code which isn’t realistic for a rather small quality of life improvement.

Yep, I barely pay attention to the emails anymore (though sometimes they prompt me to go look), but check in with my notifications every so often and all the games where I haven't seen the result are clearly marked so I can tell. I'm not disagreeing that what is being asked for here wouldn't be nice, but I also agree it seems like a lot of work for a pretty small benefit (since notifications do exist, but admittedly have to be sought out).
