Why 2p arena ?

This isn't one of the most popular game but it's doing ok I think.
Looking at BGG, there is a clear preference for 3-4p games.
So I think that 3p games would make a lot more sense than 2p.

One of the side effects of the guru system is that players who prefer 2p have a bigger influence on the vote than other players since 2p games are faster and being a guru depends on the number of games you play...

Yes, I agree that 3-player games would be much more interesting in arena mode.

The arena focused players have a strong fear of "king making" when there is more than 2 people in a game. I find it overblown, but the people who vote on it are voting for 2 player.
Personally, I will stick to non-arena for any games with a 2 player arena format. I find 3+ player games are much more fun and dynamic.

Looking back on this, 3 player arena was a good idea, but 5 player arena is stark raving mad. Games are taking forever to complete, and unable to get enough players to play live arena.

We need to bring Arena back to 2 or 3 player.

you should give up on live, the player base is not there regardless and the game is well suited to turn based

hopefully after this season we can agree as a community that 2p is by far the worst version of this game
