BGA Forest Shuffle seems to have a mechanism that lets you win a lot and then lose a lot, which is kind of boring actually (I’ve been through this kind of win–loss cycle many times). If you’re on a winning streak, you’ll get something like seven deer in a game. But if you’re on a losing streak, all you get are cards you don’t need, and on top of that, the game ends quite quickly (for example, it can end while there are still about 50 cards left). I know I might sound like a sore loser, but even when I’m on a winning streak, I feel sorry for the other player, who plays strategically smart but still ends up drawing lots of stuff they don’t need.

it's probably just a feeling we tend to assign meaning and find faux patterns in randomness, if it was more than that the game would need to give you handful of bats and end games the moment you are behind considering your win rate

yeah what u said, is a theory. but it doen't explain why i won easily 10 games yesterday and today lost 7 in 10 games. This kind of circle I have already experienced like 4 or 5 times.

luck, opponent skill level variance, losing a lot made you feel bad, so you played worse.

I totally agree This can't be explained Just by luck.

Yesterday i won 14 Games in a row. Today i lost 8 ouf of 10.
The 2 Games i won today both Had a Point Differential Like 200 Points
But then out of the eight i lost 5 Games Endes EXACTLY after my opponents Had more Points for the First time.
Just click in my.profile and Look and the Games i lost with less then 10 Points.
And in all of These Games the.opponents got Like honey Pot cards all the way.

So, you have discovered that when you draw good hands, you seem to win more, and when you draw bad hands, you seem to lose more?

I feel you!

I know that it might be just randomness, luck, whatever you want to call it. But I have been in 20 wins in a row sequences followed by 2/3 consecutive losses, so many times during a 2 year span.

Me and a friend feel the same way about the game, it's like there's an algorithm that just stops you from progressing in the rankings. It's so frustrating and there's a pattern like you said. A bunch of mushrooms/deers/tree ferns in a sequence, and then none for 2/3 straight games.

I love the game, that's why besides the frustration I keep playing it, but sometimes there is no path to win. It's pathetic when you see someone new at the game steamroll you.
