Maybe there is something about "Alpha" process that i dont know, but... i've played a lot Nucleum in Bga and i think it works great, why is it taking so long to reach "beta"?

Maybe because there are still not enought approvals

Nucleum has lots of approvals already. So it could be that they’re waiting for even more, but I’d say it’s probably something else. If it’s just reviews that are lacking, they would probably ask for more approvals in the Nucleum group or in the reviewer’s group. It’s the publisher’s decision, in coordination with the developer. Some publishers are really vocal about the current state, see the Twilight Imperium thread, others prefer not to communicate for different reasons. It might be something totally harmless, like needing more time to implement an important suggestion. Or the publisher has strategic reasons to wait a little longer.

Edit: Also, while the implementation is great and the game seems stable, there are still some open bug reports. Maybe they want to move it to Beta only if all of them have been addressed.
