Things like this is why I say games should be allowed to carry on if someone quits. In this game op isn’t allowed to nullify the results because 1 player took all the destination tickets. A player playing abnormally can hurt the game results more than a player just up and leaving.

As far as this example goes, that's basically what this player did based on the description provided, assuming it was a game with more than 2 players. They pretty much left the game and allowed it to continue with minimal interference.

If they wanted minimal interference they should have taken train cards. Taking that many tickets cards can impact a game

This part isn’t true and should be fixed. You can report players who intentionally break games even if they are following the rules.

Hey, not my words, just quoting what is said when you try to report that kind of behaviour. I don't disagree - they can moderate for whatever they choose, but to know if what a player is doing is reasonable or not requires understanding the specific game and most mods are not going to understand most games to make that determination. And red thumbing works just as well. Yes, they can ruin a bunch of games, but theoretically not more than 1 per player if each player then red thumbs. Enough red thumbs will make it hard for them to get games and grief anyone (again, in theory, but depends on the player pool).

As has also been mentioned, the player in question doesn't seem to do this habitually. I'm not sure what happened - perhaps they got a crucial route blocked and took it badly, but that's no excuse for ruining everyone else's game. I've been "griefed" on more than one TTR game though, it's easy enough to do in a few different ways, but it's pretty rare in the context of all the games of it I've played.

I understand and am aware of that message. Because of it I assumed that as long as someone follows the rules of the game they can’t be reported but while reading the bga bylaws I came across a section that stated the opposite. If someone intentionally breaks a game they can be reported. I was stuck in a game of bang bc my opponent was Sid (the only player that can regain health in a final duel) and decided to not kill me with one life left and just continuously restored their health forcing a never ending game or for me to quit. There are tons of troll accounts in bang (this was one for sure) so reporting wouldn’t have done much anyway.

That is hilarious. Basically passing your turn while getting your points more and more negative. Not kingmaking in any way so there is no way that it is reportable.

Ignoring train cards and playing no more routes is probably the most effective way to "quiet quit" from a TTR game without affecting the outcome.
