Bug search is now broken

The BGA release summary from yesterday says:

Release January 21st, 2026
* Added a link to see expired giftcodes.
* Bug page visual improvement & reactivity.

But now when I go to the Bug reporting page https://boardgamearena.com/#!bugs and put in ANY word into the "Report contains" field, the search produces no results and an error message appears:

Error while processing database request (reference: MU 22/01 16:02:41)

Yes, and this is a big deal since search allowed finding existing reports and avoiding making duplicate/invalid reports.

I tried to use search recently in bugreports, but it didn't work.

I filed a new bugreport since I coudln't search since there is to many new reports per hour, this have duplicates reports by now, and due to search malfunction I cannot figure it out. I put the link here since it's not messed up here at the regular forums.

For absolute ever, this has been the case: The Order By date filter is not sticky.

Click the Order By Date: url changes to:

https://boardgamearena.com/bugs?sort=lastupdate_desc

Hit the Search button and the order disappears:

https://boardgamearena.com/bugs?game=1118

should be

https://boardgamearena.com/bugs?game=11 ... pdate_desc
