I rarely give up on my own (and not at the end of the game), but I've never asked an opponent about it. What if he says he's against it? Then I'll have to stay in the game so that my previous message doesn't sound like a mockery. But if I'm ready to stay in the game, then i probably don't need to give up at all.FrankJones wrote: ↑24 January 2026, 04:34 At the very least, is it too much to ask the opponent, "Hey, I know I cannot win, and I would like to concede. But I realize you might wish to see the end game state or score or tats for various reasons. If you're cool with my conceding, I will concede. If you would prefer to finish it naturally ,I'll do so."
Another thing is, I could have stayed in the game if my opponent had asked me, but I've never seen such a question (most likely because opponents like me think it's not very polite to ask)
