several questions

Post by m10rost »

There is only one question left: What happens at the end of the game if two or more players have equal Courtships?

If players tie for courtship in the four categories after the final round, the player with the highest board reputation is awarded the courtship. If there is still a tie the tied players draw a VP card and no one gains a Fairchild.

Page 13 of the 2.3E rules.

Digital Rules
Tiebreakers: If there is a tie among players in the total for all four theme categories, the player with the highest player board reputation wins the final courtship. If still tied, no one wins the card of either Charles or Elizabeth Fairchild, but all tied players draw a VP card.
I believe highest player board reputation only considers reputation level, not the step within the level. So 7.1 rep = 7.5 rep for tiebreaking.

But I'm also fairly convinced that the BGA implementation does consider the steps within the level. It doesn't come up often.
