Tournament with various games possible ?

I think it could be an interesting expansion to offer tournaments with a row of different games collecting points in every round.
So i.e. 5 different games in a row for 4 players matching with 4/3/2/1 points each.
As a result of course multiple players coud win, but why not. So we would be able to create torunaments not only for "one game" experts.
Was this ever discussed ? I didn't find a discussion.
What's your opinion ?

It has been discussed before, but finding the threads is hard given that "different", "more", "than", "one" are all stop words for searching. It's not currently possible, though some would like it. It's probably a fairly big change to BGA's tournament framework, so I wouldn't expect it to happen anytime soon. There's probably a suggestion (bug) for it somewhere, but again, finding it may be tricky...

There are so many other needed features for tournaments, this is way down the priority list.

If you really wanted a "multi game tournament", my suggestion would be to create a tournament for each game, probably Swiss, and then make a combined leaderboard by hand.

I think what would be nice is if different variants of the game could be included in the same tournament.

For example, if a game has different maps and each stage of the tournament is on a different one, then the tournament would feel more like a "journey" as you progress.

Along the same lines, offering more than just two stages would be great.
