Agreed, the new interface is a worse UX.

Thanks for the new interface! It would be helpful to have more visibility in scoring - something like a check in the row/column/shape that shows it is complete enough to be scored. Or if that's not practical, something at the end of the game that shows where points were earned. I track the points and "future" points as I am learning the challenges and the shapes - if the score goes up, I know I got something right I'm spending a lot of time counting spaces - esp for the 5 different terrains in a row challenge.
