Watching current games?

I'd like to watch other people's games as they're happening but I can't work out how. Can anyone help? Thanks!

Could you please tell me how to watch current games? I've been trying to but can't figure out how.

At the top of a game's page, there's a window on the right that shows four different panels. One of those is for spectating games, you just have to click on the text.

There you'll have a list of turn based and real time games to choose from (I suppose the latter is what would be more interesting).

If you want to check the games of a particular user, click "currently playing x games" at the top of their profile.

Note that if you have a narrow screen—like a phone or a tablet—you may only see “recent updates” and info about your Elo; there’s a third panel offscreen to the right which is what tbhp is referring to. This third panel in turn has the four tabs he mentioned. (This is just below the game’s name and info about playtime etc, and above the actual buttons to start a game.)
