Stupid Red Thumb

Post by dtaboada »

So, one player give me the Red Thumb just because I shoot an innocent during a game, no more reason than that.

You need ABSOLUTELY NO REASON to red-thumb another player, and there's ABSOLUTELY NO REASON to report a player because they red-thumbed someone else (or yourself).

Hey,
almost the same happened to me. I shot the wrong person and got insulted and mockered in the chat. People DO LIE in this game! That's an important part of it, so I trusted my gut feeling. Was wrong. Happens!
To me Werwolf is a competative but cooperative game. You play together and losing is a part of a game. A lot of people who play this game are rude, aggressive, unfriendly and impatient to new people and to people who make mistakes. When you ask questions to get better you don't get a serious answer.
I love Werwolf but this community here is disgusting.
I think that you get to much ELO for a win. There should be tables for newbies and for pros. I had a high ELO because I got lucky. But I wasn't experienced enough with the game. The tutorial is a basic information but there should be more details for the different characters.
That was a really bad experience. Too many people I won't play with again if I ever play again. Sad, just sad. It's still just a boardgame.

Don't dwell on the bad things, Eliot. I've felt the same way you do. Keep playing and you'll gain experience. In fact, I still feel that way sometimes.

There usually aren't many games available, and if you run into unpleasant people, it can make you lose the desire to play. But remember, this game, like any other, is governed by BGA's rules, and anyone who behaves unpleasantly can be reported for their conduct.

Cheer up. I had a lot of fun playing with you in that game. This game is like that: sometimes you get it right and sometimes you don't. I got lucky in one game and, with my witch's potion, I killed the last wolf.

HAHAHA... You were one of the "unpleasant" people
Ya, you had fun because I made a mistake, someone called that "dumb" and you made the condescending comment about my ELO.
So, Werwolf is all about liars and fake. I don't play with you again! And some other people.
Before you write a comment you should reflect yourself and your actions.
I wrote the previous comment to share my personal experience with Werwolf and some of the players. I don't want this thread to be used for a discussion about player's behaviour in general or personal animosity. This is not my thread and this would get too far. So I used the red thumb and reported the aggressors. That's it for me.
