additional rules on patchwork

is it an idea to add an gamerule that finish the game immediatly when you completed your 9x9 board and be the winner

First, this is the general discussion forum. Discussion about particular games is best kept to the forum for that game.

Second, most games have undergone rigorous testing to ensure they play fairly and are balanced. Patchwork is likely to be no exception.

House ruling games can be fun in many cases, and in rare cases, it can make the game better not only for oneself or a group, but for lots of people. Even rarer are cases in which the game designer agrees that a house rule makes the game better or at least better in certain circumstances. And only when the publisher agrees, a house rule can become an option on BGA. Most likely, these are games in which single cards or factions are house ruled so that they don’t become too strong for high level competitive play, or an auction mode gets added for the same reason. In your example, I’m sure this won’t happen.
